Congratulations to Jill Schurtz, the Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of the St. Paul Teachers Retirement Fund for being selected as the Executive Director of the Minnesota State Board of Investment as of October 1, 2022. The State Board manages approximately $125 billion of assets for Minnesota retirement and other state funds.

Jill has actively served the members of the SPTRFA for eight years and has demonstrated excellence in investment, legislative communication, and fund operations including the move to new offices and serving members through the COVID pandemic.

A big THANK YOU to Jill for her many years of service to the teachers and retirees of the SPTRFA! SPTRFA Board of Trustees member Mike McCollor will serve as the Interim Executive Director until a new Executive Director is named by the Board.
